In August 2023, Prof. Long Yang and Ph.D. student Changyuan Li attended the Croucher Summer Course on Neutron Scattering 2023 at the City University of Hong Kong, and Professor Yang Long attended as a tutor.

This year, the course invited experts from the City University of Hong Kong, Columbia University, California Institute of Technology, and other institutions as lecturers. The courses this year start from the basics of neutron scattering. It presents several commonly used neutron scattering techniques, such as total scattering, inelastic scattering, and small-angle scattering, and their applications in physics, chemistry, materials science, and life science, with a focus on the analysis of neutron scattering data. During the last day, people visited the China Spallation Neutron Source located in Dongguan, Guangzhou.

2023年裘槎中子散射暑期学校

2023年8月，杨龙教授与博士生李昌源前往香港城市大学参加2023年裘槎中子散射暑期学校，杨龙教授担任助理讲师。 本次课程邀请了来自香港城市大学、哥伦比亚大学、加州理工学院等多所学校的专家学者担任讲师。

课程从中子散射科学基础开始介绍，聚焦常用的中子散射技术，如总散射、非弹性散射、小角散射等，及其在物理、化学、材料科学以及生命科学中的应用， 并重点针对中子散射数据的分析进行了深入的学习交流。在课程的最后一天里，集体参观了位于广东省东莞市的中国散裂中子源。
